Dupper Wolfhounds: Our Female
OUR FEMALE, CALEIGH
Caleigh is a red wheaten with brindle markings. She’s about one hundred pounds and 30 inches at the withers. She loves it when all of the family is around- Our four kids, their spouses and the two grandchildren, and all their dogs! She’s the first to greet any company we have, and has never met a stranger! Irish Wolfhounds look intimidating if you dont’t see their tails wagging furiously first.
Our son Matt, hangin’ with the hounds.
Caleigh gives new meaning to the word “lapdog”. She’s happiest when she’s allowed in your personal space! This photo was totally unrehearsed. I invited her up and my husband quickly snapped the picture.
She was very easy to obedience train, and likes to do a few tricks when the right treat is presented. Here is a photo when we had a little down stay exercise with a few of our family’s dogs and her playmates.
Here again, in her favorite position while horse camping with the family.
Caleigh and Brady were buddies from the beginning!
Brady and Caleigh with some of their furry friends. Standing up on the fence is Caleigh. She was taught that by our next door neighbor so he could reach to pat her. Even now, when she hears his voice, she races over to where ever he is.
